Bordeaux

Bordeaux, which is staking its claim as the wine capital of the world, is located at the centre of the largest fine wine producing region in the country. La Cite du Vin, a museum dedicated to the 'evolution of wine’, opens its doors to the public in June and this 10-storey glass building will provide visitors with an immersive tour.

Dublin

2016 is the centenary of the Easter Rising of 1916, an event that paved the way for Irish independence. There are plenty of commemorative events running throughout the year and Dublin is most definitely the place to be.
