Cheap Travel Insurance for Asia

Asia has always been a popular destination for backpackers but increasingly individuals and families looking for a more exotic experience are considering the continent as cheap travel insurance is available for worldwide cover.

Travel to the Philippines

The Philippines is best known for its involvement in World War II but it harbours a number of beautiful destinations.

Palawan is one of the most popular spots and offers tourists the chance to enjoy a combination of rainforests, coral reef and mangroves with the chance to see local wildlife such as the bearcat, mouse deer and peacock pheasant.

Travel to Hong Kong

Holidaymakers wanting to experience a unique blend of east meets west might want to consider going to the fifth Disneyland opened, which is situated on Lantau Island in Hong Kong.

Offering tourists the well known sights and sounds of Disney along with an Oriental twist; Asian food is the fare on offer rather than hamburgers and fries. The smallest of the five theme parks, the Hong Kong offering is aimed more at younger visitors so is a great diversion for families.

Tourists hoping for a bit of culture have plenty to pick from in Asia, from the Great Wall of China which stretches for 5500 miles, to the Taj Mahal in India. Asia offers an eclectic mix of cultures and faiths, providing a diverse backdrop for any visit to the area.

But it's possible to have a beach holiday too and Asia has some of the best beaches in the world. Bali offers the chance to enjoy a quiet and secluded break, with white sandy beaches and aquamarine waters.

Travel to Thailand

Thailand may be well known for its night life but it also has plenty of beautiful bays nestling alongside tropical jungles and only a stone's throw away from cosmopolitan town centres.

When visiting Asia it's important to remember that there are many different cultures and faiths and if veering away from tourist hot spots it may be worth researching local customs, such as dress code.

Whilst it's also possible to get cheap travel insurance Asia does have several higher risk countries so it's important that you check you are covered before you travel.
